What is canoeing ?

A natural sport made generally in lakes and rivers with low flow rate. However, canoeing as we put it here, has nothing to do with professional canoeing. Professional canoes are usually used by a single canoeist in wild waters with higher flow rate. Here, in this tour, it is your aim to win your struggle with nature. We make mention of “Indian type” canoes used by three canoeists. Indian type canoes were the sources of inspiration for professional canoes.

You are required to have qualified training to use professional canoes, however, no pre-canoeing training is necessary for Indian type canoes.

You only have to listen to pre-tour course delivered by your guides well, and strictly adhere with on-tour instructions. Indian type canoes are used in still water. You will be canoeing fast and safely when you adhere with on-tour instructions and stay in harmony with your teammates. Here, your aim is not to canoe fast, but rather to enjoy the beauty of nature surrounding you. Canoeing tracks are natural wonders. You will row for places never or rarely accessed before.
